Counseling with Traci:

(She/Her)

As a Resident in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I support individuals navigating trauma, anxiety and depression, neurodivergence, and major life transitions. My work is grounded in a compassionate, trauma-informed, client-centered approach, meaning we move at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you can’t shake, struggling with self-doubt, or trying to make sense of a new season of life, therapy can be a place to build clarity, steadiness, and self-trust. I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to offering a safe, nonjudgmental space.

Neurodiversity is both a clinical focus and a personal value for me. As a neurodivergent person and a parent of a neurodivergent children, I understand the lived realities that can come with sensory overload, masking, burnout, executive functioning challenges, and the constant pressure to “fit” systems that weren’t designed with you in mind. In therapy, we can explore what support actually looks like for you, without shame, while building practical strategies that honor your nervous system, needs, and strengths.

I draw from evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to each client’s goals and needs. Modalities I incorporate include CBT, ACT, IFS-informed parts work, Narrative Therapy, and Brainspotting. Together, we’ll work to understand the roots of what you’re experiencing, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change that aligns with your values.

My clinical areas of focus include trauma recovery, mood disorders (including anxiety and depression), neurodivergence, and life transitions. I also have specialized training and experience supporting clients impacted by religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and the emotional complexities of religious deconstruction, when that is part of your story.

I hold a BA in Religion and a Master of Divinity from the Campbell University Divinity School, and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William & Mary.

I offer individual therapy and group sessions. If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, respect, and practical support, I’m here to help.
