The team at Artisan Counseling is dedicated to providing the highest quality of individual, couples and family therapy to the Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, Poquson, Williamsburg, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Norfolk and Virginia Beach communities. Appointments are available for both in person and virtual sessions during week days, evenings and some limited weekend hours.

Individual Counseling

Designed to provide a safe, supportive and private environment to process life experiences, stress and obstacles.

Family Counseling

All families have amazing strengths and counseling is about supporting the entire unit to work together during periods of stress, life changes or traumas to achieve health and stability.

Couples Counseling

No two people are the same and being part of a couple can be both rewarding and challenging. Couples counseling is designed to support communication and foster a lasting love relationship.

Group Counseling

It is powerful being in a safe enviroment with others that have had similar experiences. You are able to share your thoughts and feelings while supporting and receiving support from others.

The Artisan Counseling team is committed to advocating for your clients and local community. Our goal is to provided the highest quality mental health services available and act as an advocate within the Hampton Roads community.

In order to effectively serve the community, we are credentialed with all major insurance providers. If you are insured by an insurance company with which, Artisan Counseling is not currently credentialed with please call and we will provide payment options. If Artisan Counseling is not able to meet your therapeutic needs, we will assist you with finding an alternative provider.
